Triangle Pivot

This drill works on support play, but especially on using a stationary player as the pivot to generate movement in another direction.

Set up the drill as in the animation.

Players should be in groups of 3, with 1 player staying as the pivot at the centre. The other 2 players should start at any 2 cones next to each other.

The drill simply runs with the following:
If the ball is at any corner, the other player must come and support the ball taking it to the next non corner cone.
If the ball is at a non corner cone, the next pass must be to the pivot, who then off loads to the player coming from the corner cone.

The drill continues in this fashion for a set period of time, when the pivot is then changed.

Multiple groups can work in the same area.
